Biography
President of West Salem Machinery Co., Inc.
Mark Lyman’s great grandfather, German immigrant Carl Gerlinger, founded and built Gerlinger Carrier Co. in Dallas, Oregon. His grandfather and father retained a spin-off – West Salem Machinery, a company that today designs, engineers and manufactures heavy machinery and processing systems to convert fiber products and recyclable material into value-added products. Today, Mark’s family company has grown from 25 to 90 employees in the past decade.
